Kent Monkman: History is Painted by the Victors is the first major show in the US. Monkman is known for his provocative exploration of history, identity, and Indigenous perspective. Monkman reinterprets classical art narratives through a lens that challenges colonial narratives and highlights the resilience of Indigenous cultures.
