Tea 101: An Introduction to the World of Tea
Join Sara Stewart Martinelli, owner of the Boulder Tea Company and The Boulder Dushanbe Teahouse, for a flavorful journey into the world of tea. This introductory class explores the origins, history, and culture of tea while offering tastings of black, green, oolong, white, and flavored teas. Learn to appreciate the unique characteristics of each type and the stories behind their cultivation in countries like China, India, and Japan.
About Sara Stewart Martinelli
Sara is a professional tea blender and certified herbalist with decades of experience in the tea industry. She founded the Boulder Tea Company to create boutique, small-batch teas blending tradition and artistry. As the owner of The Boulder Dushanbe Teahouse, Sara celebrates tea culture from around the globe.
