Silent Book Club & Book Swap

Library Program for Adults

Join us for our first book swap in celebration of the 10th Anniversary of Silent Book Club!

If your bookshelf is overflowing (or you’re just looking for something new to read), join us for a fun and low-key Book Swap & Silent Reading Hour hosted in collaboration with the Louisville Public Library.

We’ll be gathering on October 12 (Sunday) from 1:30–4:00 PM at the Louisville Public Library.

Agenda:
From 1:30 to 2:30 PM, we’ll start set up and then open up the Book Swap—bring a book (or a few!) you’ve loved and are ready to pass along, and leave with something new-to-you.
From 2:30 to 3:30 PM, we’ll enjoy some quiet, uninterrupted reading time—bring whatever you’re currently into (books, e-readers, audiobooks, all formats welcome!).
Then from 3:30 to 4:00 PM, you can continue browsing the selection of available books, chat with other readers, or just stay and hang out some more!

This event is free and open to everyone. Whether you're a longtime book club member or just love to read, we’d love to have you join us.

Come for the books, stay for the calm—and maybe discover your next favorite read!

All left over books will be donated to the Louisville Public Library Foundation.
