DESCRIPTION:<p>2019 Arbor Day Tree Planting </p><p>Friday, April 19, 2019 </p><p>11:00am to 2:00 pm </p><p>Location: Louisville Arboretum </p><p>Please use the parking lot at the Skate Park/Inline Skate Rink or the Recreation Center parking lot (900 West Via Appia).</p><p>Trees will be planted with volunteers and students from local Elementary schools. We will learn about the benefits of urban trees and proper tree planting techniques. (please bring a shovel if possible) </p><p>Sponsored by the City of Louisville Parks, Recreation and open Space Department and the Parks and Public Landscapes Advisory Board. </p><p style="text-align: center;"></p>
