DESCRIPTION:<p>The Annual Life in Louisville Photography Contest aims to help preserve images and&nbsp;reminders of Louisville for this and future generations. Students, amateur photographers, and professional photographers are invited to enter.</p><p><a href="https://www.louisvilleco.gov/home/showdocument?id=24839" target="_blank"><strong>Download the Life in Louisville Photography Contest Application &gt;</strong></a></p><p><strong>Eligibility:&nbsp;</strong>&nbsp;Louisville residents and non-residents alike are welcome to submit photos to the competition.</p><p><strong>Entry Deadline</strong>: Friday, January 17, 2020 at 5:00 p.m.</p><p><strong>Judging Criteria:&nbsp;&nbsp;</strong></p><ul>    <li><strong>How well does the photo captures “Life in&nbsp;Louisville" in 2019?&nbsp;</strong>Photos should showcase&nbsp;people, places, and events that make&nbsp;someone specifically think "Louisville” versus&nbsp;any other city or town.</li>    <li><strong>Artistic quality and originality of subject matter.</strong>&nbsp;Photos should capture original perspectives,&nbsp;different seasons, and different parts of our&nbsp;community. View past entries in the slideshow below.&nbsp;</li>    <li><strong>Awards will be given in a variety of&nbsp;categories.&nbsp;</strong>Categories may change based on&nbsp;the photos submitted, but may include:&nbsp;Nature, People, Old Town/Downtown, Black&nbsp;&amp; White, Landscape, Student Photography, and&nbsp;Overall Grand Prize.</li></ul><p><strong>Life in Louisville Photography Show and People's Choice Award Voting</strong><br>Select photos will be displayed at the Louisville Recreation and Senior Center in January/February 2020.
