Local Louisville author Leah Angstman reads from and discusses her new debut historical novel, Out Front the Following Sea, an epic tale of a brutal 17th-century New England during King William's War and how the conflict plays out on English and French settlers and their Native American allies, along with a cast of Quakers, highwaymen, pirates, witch hunters, soldiers, and townsfolk dragged into the fray.
A Q&A session will follow the reading, and book copies will be available for sale and for signing.
Leah is the vice chair of the Louisville Historical Commission, liaison to the Historic Preservation Commission, a business sponsor of the Louisville Historical Foundation, and a volunteer at the history museum. Find out more information about the book.
