DESCRIPTION:<p>Have you or someone you know recovered an item from the Marshall Fire burn areas? Want to learn about preserving your family photos to protect them for the future? Have a story to share about the Marshall Fire?&nbsp;You're invited to these free, drop-in workshops to learn how to clean and stabilize fire-damaged items from professional conservators, digitize family photos, and share your story.</p><p>The workshops will take place at the&nbsp;Louisville Public Library (951 Spruce St.) in the Meeting Room and Upstairs Study Rooms between 2 and 4 PM on the following dates:</p><p>Saturday, May 28<br>Sunday, May 29<br>Saturday, June 25<br>Saturday, July 30<br>Saturday, August 27</p><p>Each workshop will have three stations:</p><p ><b>Care &amp; Cleaning of Fire-Damaged Items:</b>&nbsp;Insight from professional conservators about how to clean, stabilize, and preserve items damaged in the Marshall Fire by ash, smoke, fire, wind, and snow. Free conservation kits available.</p><p><b>Digitize Photos:</b>&nbsp;Scanning and preserving family photos for the future. Bring your photos or learn best practices for preserving them at home.</p><p><b>Tell Your Story:</b>&nbsp;Record or film your story about the Marshall Fire so it can be documented for the future. This is a safe space to share. Individuals&nbsp;and groups welcome. Facilitation available in English and Spanish.</p>
