He started small competing in sprint distance events that take anywhere from 50 min or so to 2+ hrs. 10 years later he finished his first Ironman (That takes between a bit less than 8 hrs. to 17) and since then has finished 28 winning his age category
at the World Championship in Kona Hawaii in 2017 at 71 years of age. Simon will cover a bit of the history of the sport, what’s involved in the training, and share some of his more memorable moments out on the race course in locations around the world.
