The City of Louisville is in the process of drafting its first-ever Housing Plan to evaluate Louisville’s current and future housing needs and develop a set of responsive strategies. Developing this plan involves multiple stages, including opportunities for community input on a needs assessment and draft strategies. There will also be reviews by and feedback from the Planning Commission and City Council. Recommendations from the Housing Plan will also help inform the upcoming update of the City's Comprehensive Plan.
