Ms. Chapman has been a member of Decoding Dyslexia/CA; a parent member of the Dyslexia Working Group in the LAUSD (CA) system; trained in OG Plus, a literacy program by Orton-Gillingham Fellow Fran Bowman; a facilitator for NoticeAbility; is a member of BVKid; on the Dyslexia Advisory Team for BVSD; taken the CDE's READ ACT coursework and, most importantly, has a daughter with dyslexia who has opened her head and heart to this journey
